Abstract:

Brad-bound volume of company records and meeting minutes of a gold mining company operating near Folsom, California. The meetings were held in its offices in Carson City, Nevada and San Francisco, California and are signed by the board members. Contains corporation by-laws, a sample stock certificate, and minutes detailing the resignation of the board and the sale of the company to principals in the Hillcone Steamship Company, transactions with banks, purchase of capital equipment, the volatile labor situation, etc. The last portion of the record is dominated by the applicatioin for a $240,000 loan from the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, an independent agency of the Federal government. Also includes 9 photographs (8x11, b & w) of several different dredges operated by the company.
